Sumburgh Head Lighthouse Shetland Isles

This fine art print of Sumburgh Head Lighthouse is from an original coloured pencil drawing referenced from my own photo taken in the Shetland Islands.

This lighthouse was the first to be built in Shetland and is now a listed building. Designed by Robert Stevenson, grandfather to famous author Robert Louis, the building was constructed in 1821.
The lighthouse buildings have been renovated and restored by the Shetland Amenity Trust at a cost of £5.4 million and is now a world class visitor attraction.
